    Production Cleaner

    The Production Cleaner is responsible for cleaning the high-pressure processing area and live area and reports to the Production Cleaning Supervisor.

    Hours: Evening shift; M – F between 7 pm and midnight. 20-30 hours per week.

    Wage: $16/hour

    Duties

    • Remove all waste totes and disposing of in the proper manner
    • Wash and rinse lobster totes
    • Clean and sanitize equipment and utensils, and where applicable air dried and stored in a sanitary manner
    • Clean and sanitize pallets, walls, floors, pans, doors, lights, etc.
    • Drain cleaning
    • Notify management of any repairs required
    • Tackle heavy cleaning jobs
    • Unload C02 freezer, box, label, palletize, and store product in cold storage

    Skills & Attributes

    • Attention to detail: you will need to deliver a high level of service to meet sanitary expectations and requirements
    • Maintain the strength and mobility to kneel, stoop, bend and lift
    • Dependable and self-motivated
    • Effective time management: ensure all delegated cleaning tasks are completed during shift

    Working Conditions

    • Cool, wet, damp
    • Physical requirements: bending, lifting, walking
    • Use of protective equipment such as gloves, safety glasses and respirator

    Shellfish Processor 

    Hours: 20-40 hours per week (seasonal); Day, Evening, Morning, Night, Weekends

    Wage: $16/hour

    Responsibilities

    • Transport fish and shellfish to work area
    • Weigh fish or shellfish, record weight, and pack fish in ice
    • Clean machines and immediate work areas
    • Sort fish according to species, weight, and destination

    Must have own transportation

    General Labourer – Material Handling 

    Hours: 30-40 hours per week (seasonal); Day, Evening, Morning, Weekend

    Wage: $16/hour

    Responsibilities

    • Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
    • Weigh materials and goods
    • Sort, crate, and stack goods
    • Transport and distribute materials and goods

    Must have own transportation.
